Continental Drift

Slow the time

My heart burns

There is no one for me to ask

There is no one at all

The clouds cast their shadows

On the mountains

My heart longs to follow

The sun

There is no one to ask

There is no one

**********************

Then we find ourselves

In another world

That we only

Imagined once before

Long time ago

So it seems

I hardly even

Remember my dreams

All forgiven now

Facing into daylight

Finding ways

To overcome

Now we are the ones

There’s no one to ask

We ask ourselves

And then

In the wind

We find an answer

To our life

Take a chance

Make a shift

It’s a Continental Drift

No one ever seems to know

The path you’ve climbed

Shoot for the rivers

And the ocean wide

No one will

Stop you now

Because you

Know just who you are

You’ve come far

You’ve come far

To find just who you are

Who you are

But is it ever in your mind

When you find it’s all behind

That the voices long ago

Have faded with the snow

You have found your way

You have found the way

Giving all you have

Go all the way

**********************

You have found yourself

You have found yourself

There is no one to ask

There is no one

Only you
